I write poems nearly every day; it’s an outlet I share with music and songwriting, but poetry wins out on the daily exercise front - for the last year or so anyway - although I’ve been writing for more than 20 years. I generally publish on poetfreak.com, writerscafe.org and hellopoetry.com; all under the pseudonym jinjahman. I’ve been sending submissions to journals (Poetry Ireland, Cyphers, Sting in the Fly) and recently read some poems aloud  at a Seventowers event in Chaplins pub, Dublin and a Fingal Literary festival event in Swords Co. Dublin; there’s a Skerries group I’m going to join (Ardgillan writers group) so as you can gather I’m trying to take it to the next level!
